EMAIL NEWSLETTERS

Do not dismiss the power of the lowly email! A yearly, seasonal, or monthly email newsletter sent to a select group of customers and potential customers can be a very rewarding marketing tool. Each email doesn’t cost much to send; the recipients have already asked for more information so you know they are interested (this isn’t spam we’re talking about); and the results of each mailing can be measured very accurately.

Our own eblast manager allows you to create new emails yourself from a custom template we design just for you. You can log in any time to edit newsletter content, manage your email list, or just look at your stats. Stats include who opened the emails and when, which addresses bounced and why, and which links inside the email were clicked. Unlike sending emails through Outlook, emails are very likely to pass through spam-filters and actually reach your subscribers.

CONTENT MANAGEMENT

If you already have a website and need to contact your web designer for every small change, you know what a hassle that can be. A content management system (CMS) makes your site easy to maintain in the short term, and when you eventually want to give it a face-lift, it won’t require a complete gutting.

We use ExpressionEngine. We’ve tried several other systems but they were either too limiting or too difficult to customize. We have also created bespoke solutions for several clients. ExpressionEngine is the best of both worlds. It’s powerful on its own and flexible enough to allow for a high degree of customization. We’re loving it and so are our clients.

BUSINESS CONSULTATION

People are expecting a more communicative online presence from businesses they patronize. Social networks, blogs, newsletters, and support forums allow individuals and organizations to engage with their audience in a way that’s both personal and public. Putting your project in someone else's hands can be scary but we make the process as inclusive and transparent as we can. Your participation at every step is essential and we use Basecamp to help us all stay on the same page.

Discovery

Here we gain a solid understanding of your business, your industry, and what you want to achieve. A proposal is drafted which outlines the project in detail including the requirements, budget, and schedule.

You can start this process today by filling out our questionnaire.
Design

We will take everything we've learned and design a set of page mock-ups. This is an iterative process and your role can be as collaborative as you'd like. Once you are completely satisfied, we'll head on over to the coding stage.
Development

Only the finest-tuned, handcrafted code goes under the hood. Your site's code will be fast, standards compliant, search engine friendly, and accessible. During this stage, you'll be able to see what we're up to as we upload our work-in-progress onto a staging server.
Launch

After we have thoroughly gone over the site for browser compatibility, code validation, spelling mistakes, etc, we'll release it to the masses. We will also provide training on your content management system, set up your email addresses, and help you understand your site statistics.
Your site is up. All done!

Not necessarily.

You may eventually need seasonal design refreshes, new pages, or new features. You can call on us to make sure your site remains fresh and doesn't lose its flavour. We can help you analyze your site's performance and make sure that it's still pulling its weight.
